Vila La Angostura, Patagonia, Argentina. In this remote corner of the world where the magnitude of nature is timeless, Lumaia emerges. A livable space with architecture that echoes the forms of its natural surroundings. For the visual identity, we created a typeface where each letterform pays tribute to the lines/diagonals of the architecture.

And the typography behavior reflects the core principle of the project: ”authentic architecture should be able to harmoniously blend into the natural environment.” Lumaia Typeface boasts more than 700 ligatures and over 1400 characters. Creating a visual language that embodies the spirit of a place where design and nature merge.
